Top International Forensic Intelligence Analyst to speak at annual AIPIO Conference.
Dave Ashton, international expert in the field of military intelligence analysis, airborne law enforcement, homeland security and counter terrorism, will be speaking at this year's AIPIO annual conference to be held on the 18th October in Hobart.
Dave will be giving an insight into the area of forensic imagery analysis and the use of imagery to support serious crime and counter terrorism operations. According to Dave, "Imagery is now available in many forms with varying degrees of quality, such as mobile phone images and CCTV systems. These sources of images have played a crucial role in piecing together information following incidents such as the July 7th bombings in London".
During his 22 years service in the Royal Air force Dave provided specialist imagery support on many military operations and to numerous government agencies which included consultancy on matters of serious crime, counter terrorism and security of major sporting and political events.
