The staff, headed by directors Rod McCourt and Dave Ashton, comprises fully trained and experienced intelligence analysis experts equipped with state of the art analytical hardware and software.
Global Intelligence Solutions was formed in response to the growing demand for specialist intelligence consultancy, analysis and training from defence and security communities worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to tailor our products and services to individual customers specific requirements.
Rod McCourt - Director
Rod is a former Royal Air Force (RAF) Intelligence Officer and has over 14 years
experience as a qualified intelligence analyst. He has served in
operational theatres on many occasions and is a qualified instructor
in the field of intelligence analysis. In addition to defence
intelligence analysis, Rod has worked extensively training law
enforcement units in the field of imagery intelligence gathering and
analysis, from both an aerial and a ground perspective. As a
result of this work, Rod has become a recognised expert in the field
of forensic imagery analysis, analysing CCTV footage for the law
enforcement and legal communities worldwide. Rod has provided
expert evidence in court on many occasions. Rod is a member of
the British Association for Human Identification (BAHID).

Dave Ashton - Director
Dave is a former Royal Air Force (RAF) Intelligence Analyst and has
over 24 years experience. He has extensive experience of serving
on operations and is a highly qualified instructor in the field of
imagery intelligence analysis. For a period during his RAF service,
Dave provided specialist imagery support to many other government
agencies. This took the form of consultancy on matters of
serious crime, counter terrorism and security of major sporting and
political events. Dave also has a significant amount of
experience as a software trainer and is a Senior Associate member of
the Institute of IT Training. He has also worked as a
Business Intelligence Analyst and IT trainer for i2 Ltd, providing
visual link intelligence analysis training to over 130 analysts.
Dave is a recognised expert in the fields of military intelligence
analysis, airborne law enforcement, homeland security and counter
terrorism.
